Gone before the dawn

Gone before the dawn

On a date planned long ago

A wordless goodbye

for a timeless song

Do they know where they go

Do they know where they go

when they go?

do you know what is lost

when you give up?

do I know what to say

when we are alone?

does she know she’ll know

when the time has come?

does he know he’ll miss it

when it’s gone?

do we know what we have

before it leaves us behind?

does it always feels sad

when it’s over?

do we care enough

just to wait…

long enough…?

A Moment

In that moment she felt something new:

A peaceful happiness,

A sweet assertiveness,

A mystical mix of forces.

Temptation was defeated,

Was gone.

Her feet moving fast,

Dancing her own song

Was she mad or no longer insane?

Was she dying or being born again?

She never knew,

never tasted life so…

Stars melting over her…

No longer fighting nor alone.

The gentle breeze touching her hair,

She was finally ready….

.to get up and start again…

Time

Time

is not real.

Thin air slipping through

excuses

you let become

truths

Time

is a measurement,

of a thought

a possibility

you don’t let be,

a closed door.

Time

is a chance,

you may not take

a kiss,

a word,

a promise, unkept

Time

is sudden,

an idea within a box

a smile,

a look.

The train you didn’t catch, didn’t run

Time

is within you,

in your hands.

an action,

a step.

Running  risks of reaching routes

to go or

to stay?

Time

is a gift,

an ignored advice

limitations.

Obstacles

I did not see

Time

you and I

wouldn’t ever have

a decision

made

on  a first second

Me

making

my way

Getting

awayfrom you

Time

is you

letting  me

Go
